Silver in the borough gymnastics competition
Team SJP took part in the Kingston Borough Key Steps 2 & 3 competition this week and done extremely well with the key steps 3 team bringing home the silver medal in the team event.
Having worked with this talented group of gymnasts since Y3, Mr Ford was so proud to see them reach their potential by bringing home the silver medal at this years borough gymnastics. The Y6 team made up of Zofia, Savannah, Oliver & Curtis have been practicing since January for this big competition and the practice paid off as they performed amazingly well across all three disciplines. All 4 performed their floor routines with minor errors, body management was done exceptionally well and they all smashed their vault performances. They should be so proud of their achievements as that is the highest medal the school has ever recevied in gymnastics. Well done also to the Y3 & 4 team who also took part in the competition and done extremely well in their first ever competition.
