Hula Hooping madness!

Miss Bradley, 12 Mar 2018

After a fantastic Hoopstarz day, St Joseph's are hula hooping like mad!

Hula Hooping madness!

It's been a month since our really successful Hoopstarz day at the end of last half term. All children thoroughly enjoyed the day and learnt many new tricks to do with their hula hoops- even some of  the teachers got involved!

Since then the Sports Leaders have been in charge of the Spring Termly challenge of hula hooping. Every break time they take the hoops out for different classes to have a go and see if the children can beat their personal best!

Children who get the highest score in their class will receive a certificate for the determination and passion that they are putting in, in order to beat their personal best. Not only that, but it is great to see the children all enjoying themselves while learning a new sport or tackling a new challenge, such as how many times can you jump in and out of the hula hoops.

The children would all agree that hula hooping is an excellent way to keep active everyday!

Well done to all the children who took part last week and keep hula hooping!

Keep your eyes peeled on the school website for photos from our Hoopstarz day!
