Swimming Gala
What a busy week for sports at St Joseph's!
Well done to all children who took part in the swimming gala at Thornaby Pool on Wednesday 10th January.
Miss Wharton and Mrs Wharton were very impressed with the six children who took part due to how well the children behaved in and out of the pool. The children worked well individually and as a team, supporting and congratulating each other in their individual races. They truly displayed the School Games Values of determination and respect.
The determination was clear as all the children were successful in their races, with Kayleigh coming first in both of her races. Well done Kayleigh! However, this does not mean she is through to the area final, as it is based on the finalists times.
