Yr3 Skip2BFit festival
Year 3, Miss Bradley and Mrs Smith Skip to be fit!
On 9th October, Year 3 attended a skipping festival at Marsh House Sports Complex. We were all very excited to attend the festival!
When we arrived all the children took part in a warm up and Dave, the instructor from Skip2BFit, didn't talk for 10 minutes- The children copied him and his actions and left the teachers very impressed with how quiet they could be.
The main part of the festival involved all of the children competing against themselves to see how many skips they could do in 2 minutes! Heidi did over 200 skips! It was exhausting work! The children even made the adults to take part. Miss Bradley, Mrs Smith adn Miss Wharton all had a go at the 2 minute challenge, with Miss Wharton doing loads more than Miss Bradley or Mrs Smith! However, we all had a great time and the children were fantastic at cheering each other on and they all showed amazing team spirit! Well done Year 3- keep challenging yourselves!
