Yr5 vs Yr6 Hockey

Miss Bradley, 18 Apr 2018

The Yr5 and Yr6 hockey teams played against each other to determine who would go through to the area final.

Yr5 vs Yr6 Hockey

Before half term the cluster hockey match, that was supposed to take place on Tuesday 27th March, was cancelled due to bad weather.

Unfortunately, there was no time to reschedule the match before the area final. This meant that all the schools competing on the Tuesday were automatically put through to the area final.

St Joseph’s had planned on sending two teams and were only allowed one through to the final. To decide which team, or players, would get through to represent the school the Yr5s played against the Yr6 team.

Both teams played very well, with both scoring goals. Overall, the Yr5 team communicated better and worked as a team to ensure they would win. Some of the strongest members of the Yr6 team were picked to play alongside the Yr5 at Egglescliffe School.

Good luck on Wednesday St Joseph’s!!
