EFL Football Tournament 30.11.23

Today, we visited Rovers Eco-power stadium for the EFL Football Tournament that leads the winners to Wembley. 22 teams from all across Doncaster were in attendance. We won all 4 of our group games to finish 1st and so progressed into the quarter finals. We won that,  1-0 against Warmsworth and then won the semi final 2-0 against Richmond Hill. Onto the final against Thorne. Having gone behind, we managed to equalise but despite our continued pressure we could not find a winner. The game went to penalties and then sudden death penalties. Unfortunately were fell short and were beaten. I would like to congratulate the squad for all of their efforts, team work and skill level shown throughout the day.
