Cross Country and Motiv8

Y3456 Cross Country @ Holyrood Report by Isabelle: On the 15th January a group of Tatworth children went to Holyrood School for cross country. There were lots of local schools and everyone ran really well. It was quite cold but we soon warmed up. We were lucky the ground wasn’t too wet, but there were a few slips. I am proud of Tatworth for giving it 100%! Mrs Churchill’s Report: Everyone worked well and we had lots of children in the top 15. Y5/6 boys: Sam: 3rd, Jamie: 8th and Joseph: 14th. Y5/6 girls: Poppy: 4th, Amber: 5th, Summer: 6th and Betty: 8th. Y3/4 boys: Ned: 2nd & Chris: 3rd. I would like to emphasise that all the children did a great job, well done as overall we were 2nd!

Y3/4 Inter House Tag Rugby On Thursday afternoon the whole of year 3 and 4 took part in inter house tag rugby. For some this was a steep learning curve, but run forwards and pass backwards helped to reinforce good play. The results were: 4th: Stonham, 3rd: Joslin, 2nd: Langdon & Brewer: 1st. Motiv8 On Thursday 15 Y3/4 children had the opportunity to go to Yeovil College to take part in Motiv8. This activity involved exercise developed from computer games. The children had fantastic fun working with 5 other schools. The red team won overall which some of our children where part of. Well done everyone.
