Year 5&6 football competition at The Staffordshire University Academy.

JB Greens

JB Greens were a brand new team made of pupils from Year 5&6 who had not played together before or in some instants, never even played in a football match. This was a great experience for all involved and they made Mrs Clarke so proud, improving each game and showing outstanding resilience. Well done JB Greens!

JB All Blacks

JB All Blacks went into the competition off the back of  a heavy defeat in their first game as a team, but this did not phase them. They went on to beat Henry Chadwick B (1-0) , Chase Grammar (3-0) and Etching Hill (1-0) in the group.  Then came the Semi-final against a very strong  Henry Chadwick A side; which feature a special guest in former England and current Manchester City goalkeeper watching on. But with amazing collective responsibility on and off the pitch, we came through and won 2-0. The final was a closely fought encounter against Pye green finishing 0-0. Unfortunately we came to our first loss on penalty's, finishing a very impressive second place. Well done JB All Blacks!
