Fitness Week 4 - Balance and Co-ordination
During this week in fitness, our pupils have worked on developing their balance and co-ordination. First of all, they were able to understand the two terms and give definitions for them. Then, they completed a specific circuit working on both balance and co-ordination. Stations included balancing on a bench to seeing how many bean bags you can throw into a bucket in 30 seconds. Finally, the pupils were asked to identify whether a station was balance or co-ordination. For our year 5 and 6 pupils, they were a few stations which were both balance and co-ordination. It was really pleasing to see that pupils were able to begin to identify these and explain why. This coming week, each year group will be set a house challenge to complete in groups of 4’s. Let’s see which house will come out on top.
