Rotherham Football Finals

See how our Under 11 Girls got on at the Rotherham Finals

Having being crowned champions at our Wales High School Partnership event, it was time for the Rotherham finals for the girls.

Going into the first game, the girls were nervous but excited. However, after a 5-0 loss in our first game, it didn't dampen the spirits of our girls.  Moving onto the second game, a 1-1 draw gave the girls hope. Onto the third game, a 1-0 win boosted spirits even further. After a repeat of all 3 fixtures again, with the same results, the girls finished a valiant 3rd with only 1 point of 2nd place. It was amazing to see all the girls, play with so much spirit, determination and resilience.

Well done to all the girls who took part, you played fantastically!
