 House Competition:

Year 3 and Year 5 class thoroughly enjoyed the second round of their house competitions this week. Year 3 participated in their netball competition, many of them managing to score goals and therefore points for their house team. The Year 5s really enjoyed their time with Mr Crouch, competing in the football round of their house competitions. Mr Crouch was extremely impressed with their attitudes, resilience and performance. Each house worked superbly together; they demonstrated all of the School Games values superbly!

In netball, Maple Class also demonstrated a high level of determination and resilience. I was really impressed with some of their netball skills. There seemed to a great balance of fun and competitiveness amongst the children.

The results for this round will go towards the first round, and when all of the junior classes have competed in all four events, their points will be collated to be able to award a winning house for each sport: football, netball, hockey and tag rugby.

We still have two rounds to go, so at this point, any house could be the winners!

In this round, congratulations to Beauchamp for winning the Y3 netball competition and to Montague for winning the Y5 football, house event.

Well done to all of the children for their efforts and positive attitudes. Thank you to Mr Crouch for his efforts also.
