Inclusive Sports House Competition

Year 4 and Year 5 had an exciting and an action packed afternoon competing in our very first Inclusive sports house competition!

Following 5 weeks of coaching from our Move More coach, Mr Pattison, the children put their new found skills to the test by competing in 2 out of the 3 learned sports.

Year 5 began with dodgeball then handball, putting their techniques and tactics to the test!

Year 4 began their afternoon with 3 handball matches followed by a very tense game of Boccia.  Boccia involved 6 matches playing all at once, with some of our children volunteering to referee and score. It was wonderful to see how much the children have learned over the last half term. They really enjoyed competing against the other houses and they worked fantastically as a team. It was also lovely to hear so many of the children being so positive about the competitions and about sharing the effort with their team.

It was a really successful afternoon. The children are really looking forward to hear the results.

Results: Montague are the Winners!
