Interhouse Competition - Kinn Ball!

 Interhouse Competition

Year 5 absolutely loved their afternoon with James and Amy today. Move More supplied a very, very fun piece of equipment today to enable us to compete (in houses) in a game that we have never ever played before!

Three houses competed against each other at a time, with one team taking a test each time.

The aim of the game was to serve to a team, who needed to catch it and balance it together before serving it to another. Two points were awarded to a team that managed to catch the ball and one point was given to the other teams, if the chosen team did not catch the ball. It was extremely fun!

I’m sure the children had a wonderful time. It was the perfect way to enjoy our final session with James and to end our brilliant half term.

I’m sure you will all be asking, so who won?

In the end, Beauchamp stole the show and earned the 1st place position. However, every single team played brilliantly together; they really were required to support each other and to work as a team (literally) to catch the ball.

Well done year 5! Our first house competition is now completed!
