New-Age Curling
New-Age Curling Event
Tirlebrook 1st , 2nd Carrant Brook, 3rd Naunton Park
Today, four of our Year 4 girls attended a very unique, new-age curling. An exciting opportunity that has occured very close to the winter Olympics, where Great Britain usually do extremely well!
With an exceptionally determined and perseverant attitude, the girls stormed to victory, winning not only their pool but the entire competition!
In their pool alone, there were 7 schools, including: St Gregorys, St James, Charlton Kings Junior School, Oakwood, Naunton Park and Carrant Brooke.
Our team did extremely well to win their pool, but to go on to win the entire competition is an amazing achievement, and something they should be very, very proud of.
They returned to school joyous, proud and elated, wearing a dazzling gold School Games medals.
Well done girls!
Thank you so much to Mrs Assheton for transporting and supporting our team. We could not do it without you!
