Panathlon Event

We had a fantastic morning at All Saints Academy in Cheltenham at the Move More Panathlon Challenge. Our team of 10 worked well together across all 9 activity stations competing against 7 other schools. We did amazingly well and came home with team bronze! Everyone demonstrated a wonderful positive attitude, but a very special well done to Elodie and Blake who were awarded School Games values wrist bands for Passion and Self-Belief respectively. The Tirlebrook Team’s favourite work station was the parachute activity where the children were timed to see how quickly they could put all of the balls back in the correct colour boxes after they were bounced off the parachute.  Our fastest time was 16 seconds!

The New Age Kurling was also great and was very skill based as if you pushed the kurling stone too hard you didn’t score any points at all. Well done to all of our Tirlebrook Team who represented the school really well for their efforts throughout the competition, for the way they showed good sportsmanship throughout the event by clapping for all of the other teams and for thanking the staff who had organised the day. We were a team of Panathlon superstars!’Team: LouieB, ArthurC, OliverD, OzE, IslaF, ElodieJ, PoppyM, BlakeP, Jayden-LeeQ &Luca W.

Many thanks to Miss. Stratford and Mrs. Assheton for accompanying the children at the Panathlon Challenge and to Mrs. Featonby for making the arrangements.
