Sporting Superstars - Spring 2

Miss Shadforth, 24 Mar 2021

Each half term, we are awarding one child from every class the honour of being a Sporting Superstar. These children are chosen by Mr Hutchinson for their outstanding sporting values

RJ: Harry for always joining in and trying his best. He always has a smile on his face and he is a joy to watch.

RS: Nancy for growing not just in height, but also in confidence. It has been a pleasure seeing her enjoying activities and finding her speed – especially on her ‘motorbike.’

Y1-2G: AJ for being an absolute pleasure to teach during PE lessons. He always participates, takes on challenges and is an excellent team player.

Y1SH: Hope for always working incredibly hard and putting in 100% effort. She will give anything a go and does not give up when it gets tough. She also participated in all the PE challenges at home.

Y2S: Anthony for having natural sporting ability but always wanting to learn new skills. He gives everything a try and challenges himself until he has mastered it. His perseverance is outstanding!

Y3L: George for being a keen sportsperson and his fantastic ability! Although he is a footballer, he enjoys learning and developing new skills to improve himself – he also encourages others to do the same!

Y3-4G: Amelia for her enthusiasm being infectious! Not only is she a wonderful sportsperson, she motivates and inspires others to be the best that they can be.

Y4M: Gracie for having a passion for sport. She is especially talented when it comes to tennis. Her skills have developed and she has spoken about wanting to continue this outside of school. Watch out Wimbledon, Gracie is coming!

Y5-6B: Mitchell for growing in confidence when it comes to PE. His outstanding behaviour and attitude have made him excel in all areas of sport. He will always be The Viewley Triple Basketball Champion!

Y5-6C: William for being an absolute pleasure to teach! He is a natural athlete. William enjoys leading a team and I am sure he will be in charge of Team GB in future Olympics!

Y5-6S: Reo for starting to see how much of a wonderful sportsperson he is. He has blown me away with his basketball skills and how well he works in a team.
