Sportshall Athletics
Willenhall took on Manor Park, Gosford Park and Pearl Hyde in what was an entertaining afternoon with some brilliant athletics on show.
Willenhall did fantastically to well to come out on top in the first round. The other schools produced some brilliant perfromances but Willenhall just managed to claim the win. there were some brilliant perfromances by the pupils at Willenhall with both the boys and grils obstacle relays winning the first races of the day. the girls then took to the track with Odu and Chyna winning the 1+1 and Rhaya and Macie winning the 2+2. The biys then both came just short finishin 2nd in their races. Willenhall managed to win both the 6 lap races as well to make an impressive start to the track events. In the field events there were some personal bests being produced with Odu and Alyshia both getting brilliant scores on the triple jump and Michael D doing brilliantly well on the long jump.
We were very pleased to win the event and now lok forward to the final in which should be a brilliant afternoon again.
Willenhall Community Primary School
Willenhall Community Primary School is based in Coventry. The school has a PE team that run numerous events and extra curricular activities throughout the year. We aim to increase the participation of all of our pupil in sports both inside of school and by forging links with clubs in the community.
