Four year 2 children take part in the annual swimming gala at The Oratory Prep. School
YEAR 2 SWIMMING GALA
The Oratory Preparatory School
On Monday Mrs. Javes took Iestyn, Oliver, Zara and Isla to the Oratory School for a year 2 swimming gala. When we got changed we were a little bit nervous and split our team into 2 for some relays.
We had some races using woggles, mats and motorbikes and all swam really well. Next, we joined with Purley School for the last relay race. It was close but we came second.
To finish off we had to do a pencil jump into the deep end to see who could make the smallest splash. When we had finished the competition we were allowed to jump from the diving platforms any way we liked.
We came 4th but Mrs. Javes said our swimming was amazing.
