Cricket formats: Dynamos Schools competition pack replaces Kwik Cricket

Posted 14th March 2023

Following the re-development of the England and Wales Cricket Board's (ECB) inter competition programme for primary schools, a reminder that ‘Dynamos Schools’ has replaced Kwik Cricket as the competition format for 2022.

On the back of your feedback (Survey Aug ’22), the ECB have further developed their formats for 2023 and believe the competition pack will give you everything you need to deliver cricket competitions which align with your competition intent, and will make for a positive competition experience for the underserved young people you are trying to engage.

A network of County Cricket Boards are eager to work with and support you at a local level to deliver competition formats that address the needs of the young people and schools in your area, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to them if you haven’t already. This includes the provision of participant wristbands and a 'Spirit of Cricket' certificate for schools demonstrating a commitment to the School Games values.

For more information on the Dynamos Schools cricket format, why not head over to the cricket page or visit the ECB's website.
