Free Secondary Schools Athletics PE Virtual Conference

The conference will take place on Zoom, and is open to any interested teachers or those working in secondary schools delivering athletics.

Within the conference, England Athletics will update on all the latest programmes, competitions, and resources available for schools. They will also deliver the Teaching Secondary Schools Athletics workshop for free (normally £50 per person) as the main part of the conference.

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and a copy of the presentations. For anyone who hasn’t already signed up for the free Teaching Secondary Schools Athletics (app-based) resource, you will also receive this as part of the conference.

When is the conference taking place?

England Athletics are aware that secondary school PE teachers have limited availability due to commitments in academic time and after school activities. To try and offer the best solution, they have not only provided this conference online, saving time and money, due to travel, but they also offer the conference in two formats.

You can either sign up for:

• A whole-day conference on Monday 12 February 2024, from 9am - 4.30pm; or

• A three-part series, delivered on Monday 19 February, Monday 26 February, and Monday 04 March, from 3 - 5pm. This three-part series will cover the same content as the conference, so please don’t sign up for both.
