Impact Awards 2023/2024 Spring Term Shortlist
We’re excited to announce the shortlist for the 2023/24 Spring term School Games Impact Awards!
As always, we received a wide variety of entries from across the country from all aspects of the network. Thank you to all who entered; every entry demonstrated the excellent and inspirational work carried out by the network.
The shortlist for each category is as follows:
- Engaging Schools: Jimmy McGinn (Archbishop Beck, Cardinal Heenan (1) & Enterprise South Liverpool Academy SGO Area)
- Positive Experiences for Targeted Young People: Danny Kingham & Stuart Davoile (Westwood & Whitley SGO Area)
- Personal Development & Youth Engagement: Abby Miles (St Bedes Bristol SGO Area)
- Engaging Stakeholders: Emma Lea (Active Partnership - Yorkshire Sport)
- Young Person Impact: James Watson (Heathfield Junior School)
- Best Failure: Becky Lee-Turner & the Northumberland SGOs
- School Innovation & Impact: Isabelle Riley (School – Shrubland Primary School)
We would also like to highly commend three further case studies for their innovation and impact:
- Positive Experiences for Targeted Young People: Sarah Dunsford (Bournemouth SGO Area)
- Personal Development & Youth Engagement: Laura Goodswen & The Norfolk SGOs
- School Innovation & Impact: Andrea Kitchener (Ebbsfleet SGO Area)
These shortlisted entries will be carried forward to the annual Impact Awards ceremony in the Summer term on the 11th June.
