Tennis: new fun student-led secondary format
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) are proud to announce their new format for secondary settings.
The new secondary Red Ball tennis format has been created by the LTA in conjunction with the Youth Sport Trust, SGOs, teachers, and students who took part in the pilot.
Red Ball tennis is a fun, modified version of the game - played on a smaller court using lighter balls and shorter rackets, it's accessible to all abilities. There are both intra and inter school formats which can be co-designed and led by students. Formats also include values based scoring.
