Park End Primary School
Park End Primary School offers children a combination of physical education, physical activity and competitive sports. All pupils have a minimum of two hours of PE timetabled each week. Our aim is to develop children’s ability in a range of physical activities, to ensure children are able to sustain physical activity for a period of time and encourage children to engage in competitive sports and activities. In doing so, this will enable children to confidently lead healthy, active lives during and beyond school.
Aswell as curriculum PE we also run a number of very popular after school clubs which include Tag Rugby, Indoor Athletics, Netball, Football and Table Tennis. The after school clubs that we run are chosen inline with the Middlesbrough School's Sports Partnership timetable which we are a part of. This parternship see's our children represent Park End against other school's in Middlesbrough in a number of different sports which include swimming, Tri-Golf, Tag Rugby, Athletics, Cricket and many more.
In all aspects of our primary sport and PE, confidence, enjoyment, fun, competence and self-esteem are at the forefront of our delivery.
