Activity details

Ultimate football is similar to ultimate frisbee, teams have four downs (attempts) to score, but don't drop or let the ball be intercepted, as possession then goes to the other team! 

  • Number of participants: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through team competition
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included
  • Pupil roles: Participant, Official 
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is 20 yards wide by 25 yards long, include additional end zones 5-10 yards deep
  • Equipment: American football or similar, cones and bibs
