Activity details

Bullseye is a simple and fun target activity that can be played in a small space, as an individual,  a pair or team. Pupils can create their own floor target if a parachute is not available, either using chalk, tape or a target made from card/paper. Each ring on the target is worth a different amount of points. Pupils aim to land their equipment on each ring of the target until they aim for the bullseye at the centre. This game can be played using rolling or throwing skills. How many points can be scored?

  • Number of participants: Group/pair/individual
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through aiming at a floor target. This activity helps to develop accuracy and judgement along with perseverance.
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included.
  • Pupil roles: Participant.
  • Space: Indoors/Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for the number of players, with space around the target should the objects either not reach it or are thrown too far.
  • Equipment: Target, variety of lights balls, bean bags, koosh balls
