Activity details

Stand up and swing, portage peril and deep water mount take place in a sports hall and are designed to develop pupils canoeing specific skills which would be used on the water. 

  • Activity: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through physical challenges and team competition 
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, leader 
  • Space: Indoors - ensure the space is suitable for a number of different activities taking place simultaneously
