Activity details

An exciting team activity where each player must defend their ‘tail’ from the other team who will be aiming to collect all their tails while defending their own and trying to beat the other team by collecting all theirs first. An activity to develop communication and teamwork. Which team will collect the other team’s tails the fastest?

  • Number of participants: Group
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through a fast paced chasing activity, with opportunities to travel at different speeds, in different directions while attacking and defending the teams tails.
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included. 
  • Pupil roles: Participant
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for the number of players. Mark out a play area for game to be played within. 
  • Equipment: bibs or streamers as tails
