Activity details

An exciting target activity, with the aim of being the first to knock the target ball over the oppositions line. Using rolling and throwing actions to nudge the ball leads to fast paced exciting team activity. Defend your line and attack your opponent's line. 

  • Number of participants: Group/pair 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through a fast paced target activity with plenty of opportunity to attack and defend your teams line.
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included.
  • Pupil roles: Participant 
  • Space: Indoors/Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for the number of players and space for balls to roll out of the play area.
  • Equipment: A balloon ball/beach ball as the target, lots of smaller balls, tape or chalk to mark the line.
