Activity details

Rowing Inclusive format offers and introduction into rowing competition for pupils who can row less than 300 metres in a minute, an opportunity for pupils with and without SEND to compete together. 

  • Number of Pupils: Group 
  • Purpose of Activity: Increase pupil physical activity through fun team competition
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included
  • Pupil roles: Participant, Leader, Coach
  • Space: Indoors - Ensure the space is suitable for rowing machines and team changeovers
  • Equipment: rowing machines and IT, adaptive rowing frames, seats and active hands if required
