Activity details

Timed tennis is a fun way to play tennis matches that start and end at the same time. 

  • Number of participants: Pair/Individual 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through competition 
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, leader, official 
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for a number of tennis matches to be played simultaneously, ensure players not participating stand at the side of the court 
  • Equipment: Tennis rackets, balls, a stopwatch and whistle
