Cross Country event on the 15th March

Mr Defoe, 26 Apr 2024

On the 15th March, Cooks Spinney attended the Cross country event that was held next to the athletics track at Mark Hall. The weather that day was very windy and even had some patches of rain, but as usual, that did not deter our athletes. All of our children consisting of years 3, 4, 5 and 6 boys and girls performed amazingly and showed lots of determination and showed no signs of giving up. One of our year 4 boys came second in his race which is an astounding achievement considering there were soooo many other runners from other schools competing. We as a school are so proud of his achievement! Overall, each and every child that competed for Cooks Spinney tried their best and could not have represented their school any better!

Well done to everyone that ran in the event and a big thank you to Mark hall for allowing us to use their facilities.
