Yorkshire Cricket Update

The girls from Macmillan performed superbly to win their group in the Northern finals of the U13 Schools indoor Cricket tournament.

After seeing off three strong teams in the group stages at Headingley in Yorkshire, the team eventually succumbed to Wakfield Grammar School. Whilst Wakefield were strong favourites on paper the Macmillan side batted superbly and were unlucky in their quest. But, as if to epitomise their ability it was Wakefield who were crowned champions and Macmillan could be proud of their efforts to reach as far as they did.
