Year 4 Tag Rugby Tournament

On Wednesday 11th October we went to a tag rugby tournament at Ashby Rugby Club. We played against Willesley and won 6-3 to us. Then we played Saint Johns and won 5-2 to us. Then we played against Sir John Moore and won 4-2. We made it to the quarter finals and won against Packington 5-3. We then played against Hilltop in the semi-finals and won 5-6. 

We progressed into the finals but we lost 5-4. At first we hung our heads down but in the 2nd half we didn’t. We broke Woodcote’s record for reaching the final because they have never reached a final before.  

For most people in our team they have never made the quarter final and then it was some of our first time ever playing tag rugby.
