Year 3 / 4 Football Tournament - University of Chichester (07/11/23)

We were one of ten teams competing in the tournament on the 7th, and we were extremely pleased that the rain held off (although it did get cold being out on the all-weather pitch for a few hours!).

Following our success the week before, we hosted a football match against a boys’ team from Parklands School.

It was great to see our girls’ football team heading off on another tournament, this time against 9 other teams at Chichester University.

B Team Football - The Arena, Bognor Regis (23/11/23)

The children made their way to Bognor to compete against 9 other teams in the “B” team competition.

Year 5 / 6 Football Tournament - The Arena, Bognor (05/12/23)

The local area finals in Bognor was made up of six teams, 13 minute matches and each team to play each other in a “round robin” event.

Girls’ Football – Parklands School (06/11/23)

We played a girls’ football match against a team from Parklands School on 6th November.

New Age Kurling - Westgate Centre (11/10/23)

Four of our Year 6 pupils were invited to take part in a New Age Kurling competition at the Westgate Leisure Centre. We chose to be part of this event as it provided inclusive opportunities and to create positive experiences for the pupils participating.

Running Club collectively complete a marathon (25/09/23)

On 25th September, Mrs Dutton’s Monday morning Running Club completed a staggering 26.2 miles between them.

Girls’ Football Coaching with Graylingwell Girls Coach (28/09/23)

As part of our efforts to promote Girls’ Football, we invited in the Head Coach from local club, Grayling well Girls, to lead a session with our Year 5 and Year 6 girls.

Road to Eastbourne (Tennis) II - Eastbourne (26/06/23)

Mrs Dutton and Mr Neaves drove 8 of our Year 3 and Year 4 children down to Eastborne to compete in the School Games Sussex Tennis Skills Finals.

Year 6 Camp – Cobnor Activity Centre (28 - 30/06/23)

The children were dropped off by their parents at Cobnor on the Wednesday morning and met the staff. After a safety briefing and a tour of the facilities, tents were allocated and belongings were stowed.

Future Flyers IV – Westgate Centre (15/06/23)

Quadkids Athletics – Bishop Luffa School (07/06/23)

We took ten of our Year 6 children to Bishop Luffa School to compete in the School Games Event – Quadkids Athletics.

Tri Golf – Chichester Golf Club (17/05/23)

Mrs Dutton transported 8 children from Year 4 down to Hunston for them to compete in an interschool Tri Golf competition.

Year 5 Camp - Goodwood (17 - 19/05/23)

One of the biggest things to happen for Year 5 this half term was the residential Year 5 Camp that took place from Wednesday 17th May until Friday 19th May. This year, in a break from tradition, we went to Goodwood and spent two nights sleeping in "The Stables". (This is the name of the accommodation near to Goodwood House, rather than where the horses are kept!)

Future Flyers III – Westgate Centre (18/05/23)

With our three Year 5s on their residential, the three Year 6 children walked down to the Westgate Centre to join this year’s cohort of Chichester “Future Flyers” for their third session.

Five of our Year 6s were invited back to Chichester Racquets and Fitness Club to compete against three other schools in activities that challenged them to use their growing squash skills.
