MK South School Sports Partnership

The Milton Keynes Schools Sport Partnership work with and support the school staff and pupils within the primary and secondary schools of Milton Keynes, to achieve self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and sport in schools.

Our Vision:

To support schools in educating all pupils to be physically literate and provide them with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary for a lifelong healthy lifestyle and participation in physical activity and sport.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and recent government requirements ALL currently planned school games events have been postponed until further notice. During this period of school closures, we will be working as a School Sports Partnership to provide activities and resources for children at school or at home to continue to be active.

During this period of #StayHomeStayActive #StayInWorkOut,   we have devised a timetable of weekly activities:

Monday

School Games National Updates:

NGB Resources

Youth Sport Trust in partnership with National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) have started to release a set of activities and challenges designed to support both the School Games network and families across the country.

The aim has been to produce national content to sit alongside the great work we have already seen locally to keep young people active during the national lockdown. These will include a variety of primary and secondary activity cards, which will be updated on a daily basis and free for all to access. The first four cards produced by Boccia England, British Blind Sport, England Hockey and Swim England today. These can be accessed here:  https://www.yourschoolgames.com/taking-part/our-sports/
