Activity details

The Commonwealth Games are being held in Birmingham this year, a wonderful opportunity to see lots of different sports come together. This week’s challenge explores Para athletics and will require you to test your balance, coordination, and communication skills!

Equipment needed

  • 2 markers to move round (you can use anything like books, bottles, or cones)
  • Something to cover your eyes (e.g. an eyeshade, blindfold, or a scarf)
  • Stopwatch or timer (you could use a mobile phone or a watch)
  • Someone to act as your guide
  • A tether (e.g. a towel, tie, or dressing gown cord)
