Activity details

MATP Come and Try event is an introductory, fun, movement based activity festival which provides meaningful participation for pupils with profound multiple impairments (PMLD) and complex support needs. 

  • Number of Participants: Individual 
  • Purpose of Activity: Increase pupil physical activity through exploring and trying new activities which support the development of 4 skill areas 
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included 
  • Pupil Roles: Participant, Leader 
  • Space: Indoors - Ensure the space is suitable for a range of skill based activity areas 
  • Equipment: A variety of items including sensory and tactile objects; bats, balls, hoops, ramps, benches, scarves, ribbons, targets, markers, cones
