Activity details

These two activities are all about aiming and hitting a moving target. The first activity, Goalball Circles is a fun seated team activity using blind folds and a bell ball/goalball. The second activity, Ready, Aim, Go is a ‘batting’ activity, requiring pupils to ‘bat’ the moving beanbag to reach a target. Challenging, fun and great for developing accuracy and timing. 

  • Number of participants: Group/pair 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through simple target games one being team game using a bell ball and the other a paired activity.
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included. 
  • Pupil roles:Participant 
  • Space: Indoors/Outdoors. Ensure the space is suitable for pupils to sit/kneel in a circle and for enough space to safely bat a beanbag to a target. 
  • Equipment: bell ball, goalball, blind folds, flat markers/chalked targets, beanbags, cones/hoops as targets.
