Activity details

Seated Team Score is a team activity using hoops as bases to sit in and pass a beach ball or Swiss ball to teammates. Players must only use their legs and feet with the aim of landing the ball in a hoop goal. This activity develops teamwork, decision making and planning. 

  • Number of participants: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil’s activity levels through a seated team game, using the core to stabilise the body while spinning and twisting to pass the ball using only feet and legs.  
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included.
  • Pupil roles: Participant 
  • Space: Indoors/Outdoors. Ensure there is enough space space for pupils pass the ball to each other whilst not touching other players. 
  • Equipment: One hoop per player and 2 hoops for goals, beach ball.
