Activity details

An exciting activity with pupils creating and navigating their own obstacle course, using equipment that is readily available. This activity develops imagination and creativity and is different every time!

  • Number of participants: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through fun obstacle course activity. 
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included. 
  • Pupil roles: Participant
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure there’s enough space for the obstacle course to be used safely
  • Equipment: Benches, chairs, newspaper or markers as stepping stones, hoops as sinking mud, ropes, etc
