Year 5/6 Mixed Kwik Cricket Heat 5

5 Hurstmere boys attended the Young Leaders in Cricket Course and have then volunteered to support the School Games Primary School Kwik Cricket competitions this term.

Primary School Kwik Cricket is an extremely popular sport and throughout the summer term there have been numerous School Games competitions taking place. Hurstmere's year 9 Cricket Leaders have volunteered as officials at the Girls only Kwik Cricket competition which was attended by 16 schools and saw 160 girls playing the game. They ran a Mixed Kwik Cricket heat at Hurstmere and then followed this up by officiating at the Bexley School Games Mixed Kwik Cricket Finals where the 16 finalists competed for the title of borough champions. All in all our cricket leaders completed 13 hours volunteering each, well done boys!
