County Cup success puts Coates' 10's one step closer

Macmillan year tens one step closer to history.

An elusive 'double-treble' is on the table for Macmillan's current year tens. After claiming County Cup, Town Cup and league glory last year one more piece of the jigsaw has been added after Wednesday nights demolition of Trinity Catholic College. In a repeat of last years final both sides saw goals disallowed within the opening ten minutes, but it was Macmillan who came out on top with a 3-1 victory. Harry Brynn, Frankie Angioy and Esa Sfarijlani saw Macmillan 3-0 up after an hour and the concession of a late consolation did nothing to knock Coates' side off track, moving them one step closer to an unprecedented achievement.
