miMove INFORMATION

You are working so hard to ensure that your pupils have every chance of leading a healthy, active life, but it is so hard to know if all your effort pays off...how active are your pupils, or, in Ofsted talk, what is the impact of your programmes/curricular?

miMove gives you the answers to those questions and a lot more.

miMove is an app that allows pupils to log all their activity quickly and easily. They log the nature of the activity, duration, place (i.e. club, PE, out of school etc) and, most importantly, how much they enjoyed it.

Teachers can then log in to their school accounts to view this data in order to celebrate and support the pupils as they make physical activity a normal part of their lives.

The team at miMove also supports schools in sorting the data.

miMove usually costs a one-off payment of £2 per pupil but it is currently being offered COMPLETELY FREE to schools during the pandemic to support the efforts that you are all making in keeping your pupils active. This offer is only available until 1 June and importantly once your pupils have the app it will stay with them for the whole of their school lives. There are no licences or hidden costs.

For full details and to view a short explainer video go to mimoveapp.com.

Full set up support is provided and most schools are up and running within 24 hours.

Any school interested simply needs to fill out the Get Started form at mimoveapp.com

Note to primary schools - in normal circumstances the app works well for mid to upper KS2. We do not recommend children in KS1 using miMove.
