RedZone is a non contact, small sided, American football game where the aim is to score as many touchdowns as possible from the 5-yard line. 

  • Activity: Group.
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through team competition. 
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, official.
  • Space: Outdoors. Ensure the space is 10 yards deep by 20 yards across, using cones to mark the 5-yard line. 
  • Equipment: American football or similar, cones and bibs.
