An introduction to the quick, dynamic and fun sport of handball, where the aim of the game is to throw the ball into the goal to score! 

  • Number of participants: Group 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through team competition 
  • Including all pupils: Ideas for differentiation included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, leader, official 
  • Space: Indoors. Ensure the space is suitable for handball, an ideal court could be a 5 aside-football or hockey pitch or netball court where the 'D' can be used 
  • Equipment: *Size 0 handball or similar, two goals or tape on the wall and bibs
