Rowla Bowl is an individual bowls game that encourages pupils to deliver the balls accurately to a set target. 

  • Number of participants: Individual 
  • Purpose of activity: Increase pupil physical activity through individual challenge and competition 
  • Including all pupils: STEP framework included 
  • Pupil roles: Participant, leader, official 
  • Space: Indoors. Ensure the space is suitable for balls to be rolled underarm on a smooth flat surface 
  • Equipment: Scoring mat, tape or cones and balls (eg different coloured tennis balls)
