Youth Sport Trust - After School Sport Club

The Youth Sport Trust have re-launched after school sport club. It's been created to help all young people feel part of a club while many schools are shut and youth sport is on hold. Focusing on much more than physical fitness, the club will help children develop physical literacy and the confidence to try new sports.

Youth Sport Trust - After School Sport Club

The Youth Sport Trust After School Sport Club was created to help all young people feel part of a club while many schools are shut and youth sport is on hold. Focusing on much more than physical fitness, the club will help children develop physical literacy and the confidence to try new sports.

Each week there will be a different focus, with Tuesdays introducing the basic theme and Thursdays involving a sport-specific session.

Starting on Tuesday 12 January at 5pm and taking place at this time every Tuesday and Thursday, children and young people can join in the live broadcast on the Youth Sport Trust YouTube channel. Have a go at some previous sessions here.

Join in the conversation on social using #YSTAfterSchool and tagging @YouthSportTrust across all social media channels.

Poole SGO Area

Welcome to Poole School Games, my name is Sam Cox. I'm based at Carter Community School. I have been working as a School Games Organiser for 6 years and grew up in the Poole area myself. I love my job and take pride in it every day. We are trying to achieve our mission of providing opportunities for all in Sport, PE and physical activity so that all students can enjoy and succeed. Here in Dorset the School Games Organiser team have developed some fun games, resources, challenges and video's to ensure that we can keep active and healthy during this time of Isolation. These are some great ways to contribute towards the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity each day.
