SILVER MEDAL SUCCESS

Year 3/4 children took part in a cricket skills festival learning skills relating to cricket: throwing, catching, batting and fielding. A great afternoon for the children

Dynamos Cricket Festival fun - This was our 1st competitive event since March 2020 and the children were excited to be representing the school at this cricket tournament.

KS1 Football Fetsival

KS1 Football Festival - Spurcroft entered 2 teams to take part in the event with all the children improving throughout the morning

Runner's Up for Bradfield Mixed Netball Team

The school team played in a round robin mixed netball tournament with local teams. A great day of netball for everyone and some super competitive netball throughout the day

Bill McIllvride Cup match

Spurcroft played their first cup match against local school rivals Whitelands Park -it was a close game with some great play from both teams. Spurcroft edged ahead at half time to lead 1-0 and then scored another 2 in the 2nd half winning the match 3-0. They progress through to the next round - well done.

3rd place for Footballers

The Yr 3/4 footballers played in a league group game against 6 other local schools - all enjoyed the experience and after a close competition they finished 3rd

Netball League v Kingsclere

The school played a netball league match against Kingsclere and scored many goals to win the match

Berks and Bucks Knock-Out matches

The boys finished 2nd in their league group and were through to the knock out rounds - we faced St Marys and All Saints Primary

BISI Badminton Festival

Spurcroft School entered the Indoor Sportshall Athletic event and were fortunate enough to have 2 teams involved in the competition - after many events Spurcroft finished 3rd overall out of 18 teams.
