real PE at home

real PE at home - have you accessed FREE yet? In view of the current crisis, we are all facing a very challenging time and understand the pressure on schools and families. Both ourselves and Create Development would very much like to help as much as we can to alleviate the difficulties many schools and families are facing and we hope this offer will be of assistance.

real PE at home

real PE at home is a FREE resource which includes an online programme to support families to be active, play and learn together. It includes a programme for children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 with 12 themes, 6 areas, over 250 activities and challenges and 1000s of hours of fun activity and learning. For children in Key Stage 2 there are carefully selected personal best challenges, skills and games designed for the home and garden. Both programmes are fully aligned to the EYFS framework and National Curriculum and are supported with:

· Activity timetables and guidance for families that are intuitive (click and explore)

· Video integration to help understanding (EAL) and engagement

· An approach that develops the whole child through a simple and fun way to be active, learn and to engage the whole family

There are so many benefits to being active, not only to our physical wellbeing but also to our emotional and mental health, especially in such testing times for all of us. We hope that the ideas help support your school and families to stay fit, healthy and learning together in the coming months.
